Shinto is a religion that originated in Japan. The Shinto religion has a spiritual essence. This is basically the God, also known as the supernatural being. The Shinto believes that Japan is a paradise. They believe that Japan are islands made directly from God. There is no core ancient text. There are books written about the history of the Shinto. These books are called the Kojiki, the Shoku Nihongi and it Nihon Shoki, Rikkokushi, and Jinno Shotoki. The Shinto believes that God created the world and everything in it. One ritual they have is the purification. Purification is a vital part of the Shinto. They are done daily, weekly, seasonally, lunar, and annual basis. They have the most impact on the whole religion. The Shinto people also believe that when people die they become their family spirit, and that they will always be with the family even if they are not with them.
