Just to give an idea of why asians tend to be so small... their portions are tiny! I have to have two of these salads just to feel semi satisfied. And yet many people here will just eat one!

A little tourist park in Anjo City called DenPark is a tribute to Denmark and it's vegetation. For the winter season, they decorate their greenhouse all Christmasy!

Is lettuce a big part of the Denmark agricultural industry? Or perhaps lettuce is just so darn pretty, they felt it deserved it's own little commemoration. Not sure what the hanging hairy things are either. I must say, parts of this tour left me with a few burning questions.

Another trip to Kyoto proved wonderful. Mariko, her friend Alana, Dan, and I spent Saturday night and Sunday in Kyoto. We started with a dinner at a Mexican restaurant... mmm, yummy!

Let's Enjoy Our Life

Mr. Adachi always says, "Okay, okay. Let's enjoy our life." I asked him if he's been reading a lot of self-help books... he laughed, but he didn't deny it! Either way, when we saw this sign it just seemed too indicative of our time in Japan not to capture the message in picture form.

The Kindergarten Metaphor is too funny and too true!
Thanks for the laugh. I am really jealous that you get to go to kindergarten each day! Enjoy it as much as you can. Man you are a great writer! The photos are wonderful and the fall colors so nice to see again. There is no place I have been that is as beautiful as Kyoto in the fall. Seeing Arte is also a nice memory. I could really use a tuna onigiri! Hope this finds you well.
