Hakone and Fuji Five Lakes (Fujigoko) This is going to be a bit of a Mt Fuji marathon, so if you find it boring, please trust me that the beautiful breathtaking mountain is one of the reasons why I love living in Japan. Read about my travels around the world. After completing my Early Childhood Education degree in Adelaide, Australia, my love of travelling and setting foot into the unknown took me to Japan. The white parts are the mountain huts. I think they are the huts of stations 7 and 8.

The clouds dissolved from the crater, and we could now definitely see that Mt Fuji was already a little snow capped.

It went a long way - we made zucchini cake, roasted zucchini and barbecued zucchini!
