So - we arrived in Tokyo a few days ago, just a shame our baggage didn't arrive with us! At least I got used to being a smelly, hippy traveller pretty quickly eh!

So far we have been to Ueno Park - big peony garden, mental lotus ponds, seen some Buddha's (who gave us a good luck fortune) and saw a temple dedicated to a woman that used to snatch and eat children until someone hid hers and so she stopped eating and snatching children and became a protector of children and pregnant women (weird stuff goes on in Japan, eh?).

Also went to Akihabara which is where all the manga comics and stuff gets sold, and went in this massive Sega games place - played Street Fighter and Tekken (obviously) and kicked arse (obviously)! Looked in some weird shops - they have some funky dress sense over here, and also love a but of comic porn (naked cartoon characters...).

Also so had some odd food, learnt to use chopsticks (after I taught the restaurant man how to say 'pork' - he had chicken and beef down, but couldn't say pork... now he says it like a saaaaf London'er!!).

Just about to head off to Shibuya now - the famous part of Tokyo that is always in films - hopefully something is being filmed now and I will get talent spotted - one can hope...

PS - it rains a lot in Japan, so feeling quite at home!
