Welcome to Japan

Hi All,

Wow, have we had a day!

Welcome to Tokyo airport. Here we met our delegate manager, Hiromi, or Hero for short.

Today we explored the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Offices, including the observation deck on the 45th floor. From here we could see the city below, and the mountains. On clear day supposedly Mt. Fuji in the distance. We really couldn't see that to well today.

Two of our delegates were selected by a random draw to participate in a ceremony. Parker Lee recieved the welcome from the govenment representative and Victoria Dixon presented a card that all the students had signed as a gesture of appreciation.

The ambassadors experienced Anime activity. Anime is one of the largest industries in Japan.

Hi, I am Bambi Edwards. Lori Blaney and I are delegate leaders for People to People for 2010. Together we are going with a delegation of 17 students to Japan this summer.
