Japan.

We arrived on a very nice ( but long) flight from LAX to Narita Airport near Tokyo and took the very good commuter train from the airport terminal to the Shiniagawa rail station.

We were met my my brother and his wife who are stationed in Japan for his work for 1 year.

In our short stay ( 3 nights ) in Tokyo we enjoyed visit to some of the more famous shopping districts, a typical Shrine, the worlds largest fish market and some very good restaurants. If you are ever near Shinigawa area of Tokyo you must try the " Two Torches Restaurant." This is a not so fancy but wonderful eating experience at reasonable prices ( reasonable for Tokyo. ) It's not inexpensive to do anything here )

We enjoyed our breif visit to Japan and would certainly come back for another visit to see more of the country. The Japanese people are very helpful and accommodating.

In the evening of Jan. 17 we left Japan for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
