we headed to ropangii next. it took two short subways. this is the cool place for americans to hang out at night. we found a few places which B had read about - gaspanic, hub, and something else. in the middle of all this there was a graveyard. it seemed strangely out of place. maybe a testament to the japanese fusion of innovation/ change and traditional culture. or they might not have been able to build a skyscraper there. this area had less shopping than shinjuku. we went into hub for something to eat. i got fish and chips, since they showed it being served on a newspaper and a gin and tonic. the wall had fake graffiti :
