while traveling first class is luxury for most trips, it becomes a necessity for flights lasting for more than 6 hours. We stayed at the Park-Hayatt in Shinjuku. Famous for shooting scenes of "Lost in Translation", it is a common local destination for after work drinks while enjoying a spectacular view of Tokyo's skyline. However, the hotel's facility I enjoyed the most was its ultra modern gym and super nice pool located at the 47th floor.
