So Amit has arrived. And the first night of his arrival, we went out to a pub in Shinjuku. Met a few gaijins, had a good time. A girl from the states was clearly into him, but being Amit, he kept his focus on the essence of the trip, and will not be distracted from asian girls. The second day, we walked around the city, visited the Emperial palace (the actual palace was close to the visitors, so I thought, "what the fuck is up with that?") and had 2 large Sapporos (and it was LARGE). By this point I've had enough of Tokyo, and Amit, sensing this suggested that we book it and head towards the Onsens with the snow monkeys.
