Step 1Step 1
Step 1

Steal/Beg/Borrow/Buy a Kimino (aka Yukata). Don't stress that it's too big, it's supposed to hang like this at the start
Step 2Step 2
Step 2

The photo before this one was too sexy to put up. Lift the kimino off the floor, until it is ankle length, the additional material will be loose around the top part of your body. Wrap the right side of the kimino to the left side of your body, and then on top of this cross the right side of kimino over to the left.
Step 3Step 3
Step 3

Wearer holds kimino into position tightly, and doesn't move while dresser runs to get kimo (long thin piece of white fabric)
Step 4Step 4
Step 4

Tie your first kimo around your waist. If there is lots of extra fabric above the kimo, you're doing it right, If the kimino is sitting tight across your chest, you need to lift it higher off the floor.
Step 5Step 5
Step 5

Puff the kimino out from the inside so the top part of the kimino is resting over the kimo (this is easily done by sliding arms into the sleeves of the kimino)
Step 6Step 6
Step 6

Tie second kimo higher than the first, so it's against your lower ribs, this will flatten the kimino against your body. Knot the second kimo and tuck ends under kimo so no loose ends are left hanging
Step 7Step 7
Step 7

First Obi, like a small sash, place the middle of it on your ribs, over the kimo
Step 8Step 8
Step 8

Wrap the Obi around your body, tie the ends into a knot at the front, tuck in the loose ends so they are between the layer of Obi and your Kimino
Step 9Step 9
Step 9

Wrap the Second Obi (the one for show) on top of the your first Obi, start from the front in the middle again, make sure it's tight, you don't want it falling off in the middle of Hanabi, with all the other things holding you together, you may not notice!
Step 10Step 10
Step 10

Tie the string at the end of the Obi together and tuck in so they can't be seen
Step 11Step 11
Step 11

To put the bow on first tie the strings at the front and tuck under your obi
Step 12Step 12
Step 12

Simply slide the pre-knotted bow into place using the clip it comes with

Kimo
Oooops. seems like I couldn't answer you properly last night because of my sleepiness. Kimo is actually Himo. Kimo actually means the liver. hehe Please do not use your liver to tie up your body. keep your liver in your body. it might have more important things to do than keep Kimono on your body.

Tie second Liver higher than the first, so it's against your lower ribs hahahaha, I have tears in my eyes from imagining the liver kimino
