Finally got our beach day today which was great!
Went to omi-maiko. This is by far the quietest area. Its the first time we've got off the train to an empty station and no open super markets-although apparently the beach gets busier over summer when you are allowed to swim in the lake.
The water is really clear and full of fish (saw loads of duckys catching fish right next to us) and the fish kept jumping out of the water.
Been really nice having a couple of lazy days off sight seeing before we head out to Tokyo.
Going out to Gion tonight to see if we can spot a Geisha, can't wait!
