hello
well thanks to wonders of modern technology my previous entry has been lost, behind the fridge, i dont no what but if u read it cool if not sorry.
it basically explained goings on in osaka
great place lots happening
very hot, humid. you get the jist (ill rewrite it so i have a record in the future)

im writing now from kyoto, a place just N.E. of osaka
lovely place full of temples and shrines and buildings that dont disappear into the sky.
cheaper which helps in the long term
last nights place was expensive (well for me) but i stayed in a little japanese style inn, futons, wicker and no internet (good i say)
not much happening as it was a sunday, but nice to stroll in residential area and see real japan.
monday morning woke up late and met friend mark off the train. we went to the Golden temple, really great to be out of the city as such as possible and saw ryohanji too (i think thats what its called)
japanese rock gardens and buddhist zen relaxtion. well it would be if so many tourists didnt go there.

then got a bus back into town to a place called Gion, to see the geishas come out to work, according to mark. but we missed them and instead got some booze and sat by the river as many others did for a few hours til 11.30 when we (for the second time) went to an internet cafe to surf the web email and sleep.
on saturday in osaka mole and i did this for cheaper than a hostel. but i couldnt sleep sitting partly upright, so tonight have splashed a little more for space with a booth and a reclining chair. aaahhhh
very comfortable.

to look forward, one more day in kyoto, and then either kobe (maybe not), nara(very beautiful apparantly) or back to osaka, but we'll see

sorry not nuch else to report, but feeling happier at the moment hear in kyoto than previously in japan, so thats a plus

i will hit these pages with more news, sorry its a bit short and not really that informative, but im well.
had had a mare with the diabetes in the heat, hypo after hypo, but medication has been adjusted lower and havent had to put mole into medical action for a couple of days to his and my appreciation

anyway peace and love
thommy
