I seem to remember that some park in Japan had been somewhat overtaken by Macaque monkeys and thought thismight be the place, so had to go check it out. While it turns out that I was wrong about that, it was really quite an interesting experience and I was very glad I went to check it out. I was just a couple of feet away from these two, they could care less. While I was standing here, a couple raced past my legs nearly running into me

I sat down briefly across the path from the front monkey, and it immediately was on its feet and moving toward me. The moment I stood back up, the monkey no longer cared about me. Very wild

Would have liked to have hiked up further, but you are not allowed. Maybe the monkeys get aggressive up there

Young monkey rifling through the pockets of this moped. Too funny. Things that were not of interest were thrown to the ground....

The monkeys loved this tree that sat right beside the pond. Good news is that if you fall out of the tree, you land in the pond

This youngster had just gotten out of the pond and climbed along the roofline of the building, dripping some nice clean pond water on me in the prcess as it climbed above me

Not pictured is the attendant that guards the door to the feeding house so no monkeys get in there. Would be mayhem I expect
