We saved for 3 years and then went Hoff to travel the world. Chris Columbus and Magellan eat your heart out...do you reckon other people will have already discovered the places we are going to? I loved your excitement about the Shinkansen journey, and you've made Kyoto sound even more attractive to me now. I think I would feel at home with all the 'order' and 'balance' in Japan :)
