Temple tramping in the rain

A good day trip from Tokyo is Kamakura. Saw all the surfey dudes sitting on their boards. No wind, only rain. It rained the entire day and our friend Yuji braved the elements to take us around some shrines and temples. He brushed off the idea of using his mother's brolly which was in the car because it wasn't cool!! was the most interesting

Asako, another japanese friend treated us to an exquisite italian meal and brought us to a stunning ryokan which was a luxury night's stay in a beautiful setting.
