My mom told me that people were buried twice in China also. I don't know if it still happens...I think many people are cremated now. The deceased is buried 1st in a rather shallow grave. They dig up the bones a few years hence & re-i
nter them in a jar, in a deeper grave.My dad told me that, once in a while, a dog might dig up someone's bones. When he was a boy, he said that this happened & he & his friends used the skull as a soccer ball until someone's mother caught them. They all got a whipping for disrespecting an ancestor (altho they didn't know which).
