after few days of surfing the net we decided on turi beach resort in batam...2D2N stay,2 families with 2 kids and a baby...jus 30 mins ferry ride away from buzzling singapore,turi is a wonderful place to unwind and relax..friendly staff,nicely decorated rooms,large balcony with good view of the pool and beach.welcome drink requires a special mention,drink made with ginger,it was yum..!!kids had fun in the family friendly pool..there's even pool bar and massage center near the pool.only drawback was the tiresome uphill walk everytime after using the pool(unless u request for a room in lower level).turi is a affordable,relaxing,beautiful short getaway spot...i luv turi...
