Heading Inland to Ubud

We decided to head into Bali's interior to a place called Ubud. Glums of the 4 day trip were a broken flip flop and a scouter that broke down when I was in the middle of nowhere (repair charge was 15000 rupee or around 2 dollars). Highlights however, were; a wicked Volcano ascent, at 3 in the morning to 4000ft just intime for sunrise and a hardboiled egg on on the hot volcano rocks, and a pretty cool trip through the sacred monkey tree forest.

well take care for now everyone,

Corey

This place was pretty sweet, we bought some bannanas, and once we got pretty deep into the forest so many monkeys came out and they were jumping on me to get the bannas, I was a little freaked so I tossed the bundle to Jordan, and when he saw the monkeys coming at him he immediately through them in the forest

Aloha from Puerto Morelos
Totally awesome! Sounds as if you guys are seeing some pretty wonderful things. Those monkeys were too funny. I can just picture you throwing the bag of bananas at Jordan! We are doing great. Went snorkelling in a cenote (underground cave) anyesterday. Pretty awesome. We made a decision to cancel the all inclusive outside of Playa del Carmen and return to Puerto Morelos, a small Mexican town, with the reef off shore. Kee the pictures coming. Its so nice to be able to follow your trip. HOpe that you are feeling better now. I see that you are wearing your hat.... thats good! Love you lots, take care of yourself and of Jordan!!! DonĀ“t abuse him! mom and Rob

Just another day in Mexico...... snorkelled out to the reef again... unfortunately it was a day that a cruise ship decided to drop off their garbage. Lots of plastic ripped up all over the place and floating..... was not too impressed. We have had quite a weather change right now, lots of cloudy skies.... a bit of relief from the sun though. Rob is quite ready to head home now, and I have done just about enough relaxing and eating!!!! .... plan on a major diet once we return home. Rob has run into some people he knows from Whitehorse. You guys plumbed his house a couple of years ago... his name is Malcolm.... guy with a moustache and little wife.. 3 small kids...... such a small world. Your pictures on your site are wonderful. Looks like such a grand adventure! love and hugs
