Power down on poppies lane!

Trying to get to the internet cafe turned out to be rather an adventure tonight. As we headed out of the hotel the main streets of Kuta were completly flooded (chech out the photos). Dinner is also proposing problems with no power on the block we came to too get dinner!
However dispite the terential rain we had a great day today. We ventured into Nusa Dua and successfully mastered our second pool challenge at The Laguna Resort and Spa. The beach was beautiful in Nusa Dua and we spend a few hours wondering the beach and swimming in the sea.
After feeling exausted from the heat at the beach we headed into Dempasar where we found a very interesting mall that was a huge chaotic department store...not to mention we were the only white people there. After some crepes and Nasi Goreng Ayum for lunch we took our first Bemo ride back to Kuta.
