I know I have taken a short break from updating my travels , but over the next day I plan to try and get some of this blog caught up to date , we will have to see ,

well to start with , Danisa A really great friend of mine from back home , has come to join me for five weeks of travel throughout Asia .

the plan has actually worked out quite well , we both flew into Bali , with in several hours of each other on the 25th of January ,

we have had a great time exploring the local terrain , art galleries , restaurant's and bars .

Bali is very nice , but the end of January is mid monsoon season , so A return trip may be in order , if I ever choose to travel to Asia in July , which is unlikely any time soon .

but after just a couple of days we realized that " Yes " most mornings brought with them absolutely beautiful weather , but that these perfect mornings were quickly replaced mid afternoon by an unbelievable level of humidity and that by mid day large clouds would begin forming followed by wind , which inevitably would lead to , thunderous downpours as evening approached ,

I regrettably never took any good lightning storm photo's ,

I will all ways have the most remarkable experience of sitting in a nice beach bar as , every few seconds the entire sky would be lit by millions of volts of electricity , followed by a Thunderous clap that felt as if it could shake the foundation of the building . as more rain than I ever believed possible fell from the sky as if to form a great flood .

the reasoning for this weather , the Monsoon season , is avoidable in Asia , by heading west towards Thailand , so that is the current plan , we plan to fly out to Singapore on the 28th , and work our way up towards Kuala Lumpur , with the goal of getting to a location off the west coast of Thailand that should be in the middle of there dry season ,
