After landing in India i take myself out to the taxi stand. Its a little hectic but i keep my cool. I find a driver and show them the address of where i want to go, so i can meet up with Steph. He tells me that he knows where it is and we agree to a price (after some persistent bargaining by me). Hindi, Indian language...
Hey Amanda, your blog is a great read! I liked the way you described the Taj. Spellbinding isnt it? And oh...by the way, Hindi is the official language of India, not Indian. (25 other recognised languages, 1 too many!) Next time, try head south to Kerala/Konkan coast....theres a lot to see AND its a lot cleaner (but just as crowded!). The people are a bit more laid back too.
