Hey Guys, please sit back, take a break from your daily office grind and read up on our latest update in India!

Indian Body Language...
Everywhere we go, the locals have gone out of their way to help us out, from the Train station to bus stop directions, even when to get off or where to find our way back.

Every conversation/ question we are faced with a head wobble at the end of it. We think it means no, but we've now figured out that it means yes and that all things are good!! They also shake their heads to mean No which made it very confusing at the beginning. They never nod their heads like we do in Australia to mean yes. I've become an expert at the head wobble myself just so they know what i mean.

Trichy our Fav Place so far...
Yesterday, Thanh & I arrived in Trichy after a 6hr bus ride with a very impatient driver! Honking non stop for most of the way, our ears got a real beating. This was the trip where Thanh said I had a black face but i didnt believe her until faced the hotel mirror. Not a good look at all! Trichy is crazy, dusty but has 2 amazing hindu temples, lots of colour and character. We hardly saw any tourists apart from an elderly Australian couple from Roseville! Small world! It was a real highlight to meet them, they have been travelling India for 7 weeks, similar to us going on public buses and trains and meeting locals etc... and they were at least 70!

Living it up in Kochi, Kerela
Thanh & I had a nervous breakdown at the Kochi train station (just kidding) and decided to reward ourselves at a nice hotel in Kochi! We have now moved states and noticed the difference in pace straight away. It is alot calmer here, but still pretty chaotic by Sydney standards. The hotel we are staying at is called "Hotel Excellency"... and it is excellent indeed!!! Airconditioned room, hot cold water, TV and very clean room for about 950 ruppees (about $15 each). We just met some Danish travellers who said they are paying 200 ruppees for budget accommodation which made us feel a bit guilty, but we figured we can spoil ourselves during christmas while we can.

Anyway, hours up! Cheers,
