Delhi-Jaipur-Agra (Golden Triangle)

Well... After our origional termoil in Delhi we have become very aware of the scams and dealings of the peope in the large cities. Hassles aside this place is quite amazing. We are now in Agra, arived this afternoon from Jaipur where we spend 2 nights. Camels, Horses, Cows, goats, sheep, and monkeys are among the many animals that share the streets with the CRAZY drivers. The driving is insane. Our driver hit a cyclist yesterday....he was OK. For any of you that enjoy the occasional Chai tea from starshmucks.... it aint got nothing on the indian stuff. Just finished a cup for 10cents made by a old frail indian man that sat cross legged in a 5ft by 5ft hut. He crushed up all the spices by rock right infront of us. This place is constantly stimulating.

Yesterday in Jaipur we were invited into a Krishna temple by the care taker. He has inhareded the temples caretaking through eight generations of his family. We sat for over a hour and litened to this man speak about india and its people whil sipping some amazing chai he and his wife made for us. It was a much needed retreat from the busy streets of Jaipur's Bazzars (Markets).

After we visit the Taj Mahal tomorrow morning we will head out on train to Varanasi on a overnight train. I think we'll spend 4 nights there and then head north into the cold. On that note it is quite funny. The temperature here is mid 20's ...we find it hot, and everone here is bundled up and wearing tooks! HAHA !!

Our accomodations have been interesting...no lights in some, no hot water in others. Our place in Agra here smells like deisel fuel. It's Crazy !
