Gandhi Memorial
India's revolutionary idol, Gandhi's memorial was fascinating.
The prayer room
This mural adorns the prayer room that Gandhi was on his way to visiting when he was assassinated.
Spice market
A local spice merchant catches a moments rest on bags of chillis.
The Market
Our rickshaw driver took us atop the spice market. Looking down it's a wonder people moved at all through the mass of rickshaws.
Spices galore
Tea, turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, pepper, chillies, paprika, cumin....the aroma was incredible.
High tea at the Imperial Hotel
A wonderful ambiance, wonderful tea and scones in a great hotel.
