Two days of travel, a few airports, and more times zones than hours slept passed and then finally we arrived in India.

We landed in Delhi and were met at the airport by cousins of Lindsays friend Amar. We spent the night at their home outside of Delhi and the next day took a train to meet his immediate family in Chandigarh. All very kind people and a nice introduction to India, not to mention very delicious indian home cooking!

Tonight we are back in Delhi and now we experience the chaos that is the essence of this place. Cars, bikes, rickshaws and of course, the holy cows fill the narrow streets, leaving foot travellers to dance and weave between the traffic. The rain that just started this evening is a welcome break from the sticky hot hot heat that we haven't quite gotten used to...

Tommorrow we leave to Katmandhu and will begin our trek.

Soon we will post photos, for now we just say hello and assure you we are doing very well!
