"There's gotta be something that the poor and less fortunate can practice to bring themselves contentment and happiness. Something that is not religion, drugs or alcohol.... I had a taste of reality today and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Everything that you'll ever do, every great accomplishments you achieve and everyone you love will one day turn into nothingness..." Journal Entry: 05.26.2014
New Delhi has gotten a bad rap about being an unpleasant place to visit. Though, I found nothing to disprove of that, it is still a great city with extensive history, amazing architectures and informative museums. Like any other big cities in the world, there are people that would go out of there way to help others and there are ones who tries to take advantage of tourists. Its something that I had to accept, being a visitor in a foreign land. It is what it is.
Qutub Minar: Qutub Minar.
Qutub Minar Complex.
A great monument in Delhi, with remanences from centuries of Muslim ruler. At
its base is one of the oldest mosques in India. Amazing architecture with Middle Eastern influences.
"What a challenging day it was today. First off I had to deal with a scumbag at the mosque trying to scam me. Dehli really pushes my emotions to the edge. I don't remember ever been push to the limit like I have been here. I kind of like it. It makes me feel alive. Next time, instead of losing my cool, I'll play off the anger and use humor to resolve the issue at hand. Sometimes, I wish I could live my life the way grampa wanted me to. A simple and traditional life." Journal Entry: 05.28.2014

"Miss Maya Angelou, thank you for being the beacon of light thru my darker days...You have been an inspiration to me and millions of others alike. May you rest in peace." Journal Entry: 05.25.2014 The Red Fort: The Red Fort was home to the Mughal Emperors for nearly 200 years. It is located in Old Delhi. The engineering and construction technologies applied to this Fort was before its time. Simply an ingenuity marvel of human creation.

"Traveling thru India can evoke anxiety. Especially, on days where you are trying to get from one point to another. You don't know where you'll end up and its anything but a smooth ride. In other words, you really have no control over anything accept yourself." Journal Entry: 05.30.2014
Dehl-icious: Chicken Korma: Good but overpriced. Spicy served with chappatti.
Just simply delicious.
New Dehli National Museum: An interesting exhibit at the New Delhi National Museum. This here is a sculpture of a seductress. Her body perfectly curved. There are marks on her back, left behind by a lover from the passionate love session. This was what the description of the sculpture
described. I kid you not.
Removal of The Veil from Krishna's Face
There was also another remarkable piece of painting depicting Krishna (A Hindu god) and his lover. Their clothes have been exchanged. Krishna inherited his lovers personality: shyness and reluctance along with her clothes. The painting depicts the exposing of Krishna's face by removing of his veil. The meaning behind this painting is that love is so strong that it is mind and body altering. The body of one become that of their lover as they are lost in love. Very interesting stuff, quite a contrast to Pip's confession of love to Estella, whom doesn't understand what love is. I find the pains of heartbreak and unrequited love enjoyable. It brings me a sense of familiarity and with it comes comfort...
