Morning walk
Hi there were back again in Mumbai after a fantastic trip to the South of maharashtra all expertly organised by our travel consultant Wendy. We left Mumbai late at night from the awe inspiringly gothic Victoria Train station, amazing on the outside but Wendy is appalled by the inside even though she didn't go to the mens room which almost made me throw up on entering. The trains are so well organised and motion sickness comes free for the following day. Casey loved being tucked up on his high bunk just under the roof of the train as we click clacked our way down south. James enjoyed a serve of chicken lollypops proving all our stomachs have made a complete adjustment except Wendy's whose is made of cast iron and never ever flinched. Wendy's organisational prowess is extroardinary, she even knew the estimated cost of an autorickshaw ride from Kudal to Malvan.... what she didn't know was the quantity of potholes, cows, wild woofers, bullock carts, puppies, cats, crows or jewel adorned roadworkers we would see on our way. After a quick Masala Dosa we were on our way to Tarkarli which Casey adored. Views of the beach, a comfy room,

fishermen on the beach in the morning hauling in the nets and glassy seas upon which you could sail all the way to .... Arabia (well it was the Arabian sea) all beautifully let down by a shabby restaurant which delivered the worst Thali so far .... this not being good enough, we stayed two days and headed further South to Vengurla, another fishing village, to enjoy Butter Chicken at the Bamboo and another wee shack with superb ocean views. Real peace at the MTDC holiday village and barely a tourist in sight!!!

Photos not included:
1.Waiting patiently at the correct place for the train carriage back to Mumbai, very much on time.
2. The look on our faces when the train arrived and we were 200 meters away from where the carriage we needed actually stopped, knowing we had only 2 minutes to board.
3. Enjoying a morning stroll along Vengurla beach only to realize those small brown piles on the ground weren't actually dog poo.
4. James showing off an interesting miniature appleshaped fruit in his morning dahl.
5. James' look of terror and glowing red features after biting into the miniature apple shaped fruit to find
