Squished in the jeep...
There's people crammed in behind us too!18 !!!!! yes we were squeezed in there too.
Hello everyone
Were back from Aurangabad now after spending 3 days there as a base for the Ellora caves, which are a set 34 hand carved temples, resting places and assembly halls. all made the made around the same time but by different religions, 12 buddhist, 17 Hindu & 5 Jain, some of which are home to hundreds of bats !!!! at one point chased us out!!
Our journey home from the caves was hair raising to say the least, despite having 18 people in a small jeep the driver was weaving in and out of our lane around the tight mountain bends overtaking buses cows auto rickshaws cyclists taxis tractors and whole families on one motocycle!!
We met a bunch of peeps in Aurangabad couple of Israili's and a couple of Americans one of which is Indian and has invited us to a family wedding in Delhi.
We are now back in Mumbai having left Aurangabad at 4 o clock this morning, our train to Goa departs tomorrow morning at 5.00am so a further update will come after we have done some serious chilling out!!!!!
will update photos in a bit as this computer is very old!!!
