I was very excited about my trip to India and I booked the India tour last moment as I had very little time preparing for the trip. We were lucky to get places as the Tour company does not operate any more which is unfortunate as they were good tour operators. We flew with Emirates from London with a stop over at Abu Dhabi and we arrived at Trivandrum, early afternoon. We all rested for a little while and then we were introduced to the rest of the group who were on our tour. All the people in the group were friendly and we became like a family throughout our Indian tour.

Trivandrum Zoological Park

After freshening up for little while, we went to Trivadrum Park which had different plants with lots of colourful flowers, like Frangipani and Jacaranda in the park. Also there are many species of trees and various types of wild animals in the Trivandrum Zoological Park. I really enjoyed looking at these beautiful flowers, plants as I love gardens and it was great pleasure to see some tropical varieties which I cannot see in London. In the evening we went
for long walk around the town with some of our new friends which was very interesting. The streets were bustling with people getting on with their daily routine. Being in India was a culture shock but very pleasant as well, we had lovely Indian vegetarian meal of several courses and we retired early that evening.
