I went on a village tour in Kallom was such i lovely 2 hours break away from noice and smells of the busy cities. So so peacefull and relaxing.

The fruit is dried and is used to make oil for both cooking and body creams, shampoo etc.

The Coconut husk is then used to make rope.

Wow it was lovely watching these men at work...so skilled. The timber is from the jack fruit tree and if you look carefully you can see it is stitched up using the rope from the coconut husk.FANTASTIC and BEAUTIFUL :)

Meet him in Pondicherry..This was our journey from Pallakad to his village.

Somehow they was always able to squeeze more on.

It was such a beautiful Village...very clean and everyone was so friendly and close to each other.

NAMASTE CHUNGIE-Pics are amazing and looks like you re having a fab time and met some lovely people - see us indians we re just so fab! lol im at work and looking at these pics and thinking - damn you re one lucky thing - still have to pinch myself to think you re actually off travelling the world! - have a lot of respect for you girl :) look after yourself and bring on the pics! - oh yes all indians call each other brother/sister your name would be ....."bhai" or ...."ben" meaning eg chungben -sister chung....
