The Reception

Preetha and I were married June 20, 2009. The main purpose of our trip to India was to have a reception where we could be introduced to family and friends in India as a married couple. We thought our experience of getting married on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico was amazing....this was equally great. I will never forget the intensity of walking out of the old family home to a huge crowd of people I've never met before but who were there to show their support. The Hindu drummers made for an unbelievable walk to the reception at the new home. There was so much history, so much culture, so much love and acceptance. It was a very emotional experience for us.
