I was about to get attacked by these little monsters but survived by taking their photo.
Hello everyone,
The Holi week has passed. Holi is a celebration of the victory of good over evil. For this, people throw colour at each other. I have been explained the story/stories behind Holi but throwing colours doesn’t happen in any of them. However, it was good fun. The whole India was throwing colour s on Sunday morning and now there is a lot of washing to do. The colour is everywhere and it doesn’t come off so easily. My body is still, after few washes, bluish on certain places, like I was bruised badly. Fortunately, everyone has the same problem but in the end, I am been stared at anyway, all the time, with no funny colours on. ‘Cause I’m a freak.
On Tuesday we visited a leprosy hospital. It was a lovely peaceful place in the outskirts of Hubli. We visited first the rehabilitation unit where handicapped patients are taught arts and crafts and they make furniture and all sorts of decorative items. After this we moved to the hospital wards to see the patients and were given an all comprehensive explanation on leprosy and its management. It was a very interesting thing to see it when I had

It is the custom to pass from the neighbour to neighbour throwing and paitning each other all over
thought leprosy no longer existed but on Papillon’s pages. I must say, there were a lot of missing toes.
It has rained. Very little, but it has. It came little down on one evening and we run to the terrace and had a rain dance from mere happiness of getting a few drops in our faces. The following night I woke up to hear a proper rain and some thunder from the distance. It was magical.
You probably have too much rain but I hear spring is coming to both Finland and England! Enjoy!
