So day 13 (Weds 18th Apr) we headed to Bangalore (the 2nd 'a' is silent) with waiter Vincent's taxi driving brother Charlie for a more reasonable 15eur for 50min journey to airport (was 21eur on arrival with crooks used by hotel) and then on Kingfisher airlines who I must say rock. (Heat: 32 degrees & overcast). Stayed off MG Road in Ballal Residency on 3rd Cross and Residency rd. which is great and has an all vegetarian restaurant (where we heard our 1st Irish accent and we suspect from a nun). Apparently you only go to Bang(a)lore to eat, drink and shop, so no prizes for guessing what we did but one bar "Nasa" is like space ship inside and was ace. Traffic was beserk and even though there are zebra crossings pedestrains do not get a chance to actually cross, so any of you who have ever crossed a road with me will be able to imagine what a scaried cat I was. Anyway short and sweet ( well not sweet as there was a sewer issue on one street). But like the look of Bang(a)lore.
