Flying my dreams - A trip to Himachal Pradesh - The best of its kind

Hi,

Even though i made this trip 2 years before(2012), the scenes are running through my mind and eye like a movie...A wonder-land, as i would say, in India....Himachal, one of the best destinations in India, with the most generous people, simple in living and great with values....Land of apples...This is a hilly region which can offer you with the best adventure sports, rides and activities in India....After a 40 hour journey in train from Kerala to Delhi, we took a local bus to Kalka....From there we had to catch our toy train to Shimla....the experience in the toy train is something which all should experience....Its worth a ride...the train moving at a maximum speed of 30km/hr, crossing more than 100 tunnels....climbing the steep curves of the hills, to reach Shimla....Taking this train, no one can ever be worried of missing it from any stop....coz, a 100m sprint would easily help us to catch up with the train....the view of sunrise from among the mountains was pretty clear from the train....As we traveled to this place in October, it was just the start of snowfall and couldnt get much sight of the pine trees filled with snow...It took about 6 hours of journey to reach Shimla, which otherwise could have taken only 3 hours via local bus...But the experience in the train was mind blowing....
