Namaste! (Hello in Hindi)

We've arrived in Manali, after a 14hr bus ride -which wasn't as bad as it might sound hehe. The scenery here is amazing! Manali is such a colourful little town, located within the moutains. The air is a lot fresher here too. Since we've arrived, we've been going shopping, practising our haggling skills, practicing our Hindi and Nepali (our hotel staff is all Nepali), drinking Chai, trying to plan our route (which keeps changing hehe), and trying out different curries. The thali dishes are really nice. So, we're relaxing, before our trek in the mountains.

Been in touch with Caz and Romain (friends from Uni) who are currently in Leh (norht of Manali). They said it's really cold up there & there are several strikes there, so we've decided to go visit Naggar in the Kullu Valley, south of Manali (1hr away from Manali) instead, for a few days. We're planning on all going to Spiti Valley and Kinnaur Vally (East of Manali), and make our way to Shimla (south of Manali). It's part of the Himalayan Circuit and will take about 10-14days. I'm looking forward to that!! 😊

Hope you're all ok,

Hugs,
