injuries
this is my poorly arm from when i fell off the scooterWell what can i say, i have been in India for 3 weeks now and a lot has gone on.
first of all i had planned the 3 month trip round India and Thialand with my friend Kealie, we had been planning the trip for months and we were both getting really excited, on the journey from Manchester to India we were lucky enough to be up-graded to first class with Emirates airliens it was fantastic we had beds and everything, China cups for our tea and even a menue to pick what you wanted to eat!!!
Then it all went rong, we eventually got to Goa after 3 plane rides and lots of hanging around in Bombay airport, My friend Richard came to pick us up and i could tell in the car ride to the appartments that Kealie didnt like it. I explained that India is different from anywere else you are likley to go in the world and it takes a bit of getting used to. It didnt work after 2 days Kealie told me she didnt like it and wanted to go home, i must admit i thought she would give it a bit longer but
Goa
Kealie trying to enjoy herself before she decided to go home on the other hand India isnt for everyone and just because i love it doesnt meen everyone will. We tried to make the most of it before organising her flight home, we went out for dinner and we even went to an English bar to try and make her feel better but nothing was working, then disaster, we were on the bike one day going home and i crashed into a lady on the road sending Kealie and myself off the bike we wernt serioulsy hurt just a few scrapes but Kealie was really shook up and this was the final straw she wanted to go ASAP i couldnt blame her and i did feel really guilty.
We got our neighbour down stairs to help us organise Kealie's flight home but it meant she would have to stay in Bombay the night before so i offered to go with her to Bombay stay a night in the hotel with her and make sure she cought her flight the next day.
Since Kealie has left i have been up to all sorts, i have been out on my friend Richards speed boat wich was loads of fun, i have
Goa
Busy street in Candolim, Goa been getting all round Goa on the moped, i also went to Hampi for 2 days with Richards friend Graham who is here for 3 weeks that was a bit of an adventure in itself it took 12 hours by car!!!!! with holes in the road and convoys of trucks making us go an average of 20 miles per hour, our driver was also a bit mad he liked to overtake 2 truck on a bend in the dark while i sat there thinking how many people would show up to my funeral!!!!.
I also found out my wee cat Otis has gone missing he was staying with a friend mum while im in India but has obviously decided he wants his own little adventure, never mind im sure he will turn up when he is board.
OK sorry i went on a bit i will up date in the next couple of weeks who knows what will happen next!!!
