The connection is down.

Although, I have a slew of details and observations to impart, for the time being we're stationed in a little town in the middle of nowheresville Goa-style and the internet is a scooter ride away and none too fast (the net or the ride down potholed roads).

So for now I will have to idle my days away on Morjim beach, a little stretch of paradisical sand in North Goa that features warm water, sari-clad women next to the odd topless tourist, sea turtles (apparently, we haven't hiked to the Southern end where they're meant to be nesting), and a late season monsoon (two nights ago, we spent the evening without power in a restaurant shack while heavy rains and forks of lightning raged around us).

Be patient.
