Namaste namaskaar!
So finally our quest for Asia has begun! After spending almost a week in Goa the feeling is great. Our way to the beaches was a bit rocky one since Kilroy didn't manage to change the destination AND time at the same time (since Finnair doesn't fly to Mumbai anymore). The flight was changed to December 2nd(!!) and it had gone a month ago. Luckily we got to India thanks to Kentsu (a very capable member of staff) who let us in since there was still some space in the plane. The connection flight from Delhi to Goa went without any mentionable problems.
Goa is very green and gorgeous, that's what Lonely planet said and it's true. It's an easy start in India since people are a bit wealthier here and it's not as hectic as the metropoles in North India. Even it's a dry season I was amazed that the humidity still is pretty high. It's a former Portuguese colony so the oldest elders can speak some Portuguese here. Enough with boring facts: I have conquered a couple of beaches in South Goa so far, Palolem and Agonda from which the latter is much nicer as
to it's quieter and more lay back. I managed to find the perfect palm trees there in order to set my hammock between them. Relaxing in it, swimming sometimes and eating cheap but tasty Indian food, that's life, should I say 😉 One cannot be too sure about food ever, but for the time being I have managed to avoid all the notorious bowel bacteria. Lauri wasn't as lucky when he got diarrhea a couple of days ago and he had to spend one day inside to recover. Now the situation is better since the local drug store's medicine has helped. Living here is by the way very cheap: only 350 rupees per night, that's is about 2,8 euros per head!
The days are going very fast here. We don't do much during day and all of a sudden the sun sets again to Indian ocean. So easy going it's the impression that depicts Goa well. We met a bunch of nice Finnish guys here in Palolem (Samira, Lotta, Anita and Lauri) with whom we celebrated my birthday yesterday. There was a headset party in the Southern part of the beach - an interesting experience when there was no
other sound in the place than the one coming out from the headsets. So people partied quietly and all the others who didn't were maybe thankful. Furthermore, one day we visited Honey moon beach (the boatguy said it's only for the couples but he took us there however, weird). It was a day on the sea and I saw a tail of the dolphin.
Next week we are going to move to another beach in South Goa, to somewhere more relaxed, so we can set our hammocks and throw our watches into the river where they belong to! Over and out. 😊

Pieni maailma, pieni maailma.
Kuulostaa mainiolta! Saatoin kertoa, että kaveripari on myös Goalla samoihin aikoihin ja kas, tehän oottekin jo tavanneet :D Anita sattuu olemaan yks parhaista ystävistä ja Laurikin lukiokaveri. Small world.
