Hey guys, sorry for the breifness of the first entry, bit busy you know?!?!

Well, here we are in Goa, the Christmas destination 😊 spent a few nights in Panjim when we got off the train to find our flipflopped feet and beachwear!!! Now we're down in Calangute for a few days before making it to Armbol which is where we were initially meant to stay but hey, its christmas in a chrisian state and things get booked up quick 😊 So yes, Arambol for the celebrations with some friends, markets and generally chilling - there's not much to do on a beach except drink and read

About the past week, we went to Aurangabad from Mumbai to go see some caves at Ellora and Ajanta - not normal caves mind, caves hand carved out of solid rock as shrines for the Bddhist and then Hindu gods. they wre pretty amazing to say the least!!!! Then we hired a taxi to take us 3 hours to Lonar Crater - 50,000 year old and the only hyperelcity imopact meteor crater in basaltic rock in the world!!! mpressive eh? It took about 2 hours to walk around the basin in which had formed a bright green high alkaline lake with a few temples, just for good measure - very beautiful and fantastic wildlife 😊

After Aurangabad we returned to Mumbai to get the train to Goa - Indian trains are fabulous, such an experience and much more preferential to the horrors of local bus journeys in Peru!!

I'm loving India, at first I thought I'd hate it - it didn't help that i'd left stuffed full of my brothers cold and didn't really eat anything for 2 days after not agreeing with some chicken - I am now officially vegetarian for the duration of this trip!!!! but apart from that the food has been FABULOUS!!!!! Paneer butter Masala is oficially my favourite food out here 😊 and India fast becoming my favourite country 😊

After christmas etc we're heading off to Hampi/Bangalore/Mysore but I'm not sure in which order yet - in the chaos of finishing last minute assignments I left the planning to Martin.

Oh, yes, it it hot here...VERY hot...lets say, never dropping below 25, even at night probably, midday usually brings about 32/34 maybe!!!! I'll tryand bring some sun back with me 😊

Well, that's about all for now folks hopefully will get you updated sometime after Arambol on the excellence of the Tandoori Red Snapper we're expecting for christmas lunch - beats turkey!!!

Love to all and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

p.s - I've seen Santa 😊
