Hi all,
We are now in Goa, been here for a few days now. We started in Benolin which was nice but very quite, but it was fine to chill out for the first few days down south. We are now in Anjuna a more up beat and commerial beach town, however it is full of ravers from Goas dying Trance scene - which we are avoiding like the plague! It is very hot, so we are working very hard on our tan's so we don't look so obviously like tourists.
The food here is good, and the accomodation is cheap. We are currently staying in a guest house off the beaten track surrounded by chickens, cows and stray dogs. The owner is very friendly and offered us the room when we were wandering aimlessly trying to find am place to stay after our pre-booked room doubled in price! We are now paying the equivilent of 2pounds a night which is reasonable, considering we actually have a hot shower - what a luxurary!
We visited a huge local flee market yesterday which was fun, and had to do a fair bit of haggling to get a good price but it was fun!
Anywho, were off to the beach, we want to soak up as much Indian sun as possible before we fly to Thailand next Tues.

Helloooooo stranger! Just thought i'd say hello and give u an update. I am no longer with jon!! =o shocking?! Well we are still talking but u no...and i now work in wessex water where u worked, how strange!! But nobody has said "oh jodie" it's always "oh your mum" ... it was only my first day today! =) The house is very quiet without you! (That's not a gd thing) haha. Ummm... I cant think of nething else to tell u so have fun!! love love love xxx
