Hong Kong
From the Victoria Peak We spent three nights in Hong Kong and a full day on Macau Island. Staying at Mong Kong of Kowloon seems to be much more vivid than staying at Tsim Sha Tsui area. Our choise of the hotel is really a succes paying 680 HK $ ( including breakfast). We had been provided five star hotel facilities with breakfast but quite small room.
Transportation in HK is perfect. Not a single traffic jam and not a wait more than two minutes for metro. Octobus card may be the best solution for avoiding ticketing.
You can no more see the influence of UK. Hong Kong is completely Chinese. Almost everybody is busy with their cellphone-Ipads everywhere. You can not get eye contact to request any help.
Hong Kong is the most expensive country in the region. We almost bought nothing.
Last day early in the morning we took the ferry to Macau from Hong Kong Island, because of being Saturday ( holiday) we paid more for the ferry. Because of Casinos in Macau ,holidays and at nights ferry prices increase due to demand.
In Macau transportation is almost free , because Casino- Hotel transportation is free all
Hong Kong
Kowloon from the Star Ferry over the islands. Left baggage is free in the hotels for example in Venetien Hotel we left our luggage at place A and we received the luggage at the main lobby few kilometers away, in time. The luggage handling is really reliable. We enjoyed Lisboa Hotel and Venetian Hotel.
Venetian hotel is not only a hotel or Casino they have created a closed sky shopping and entertainment area. Under the men-made sky you can ride the Venice boats, shop at world famous named shops or eat in a bar or a seven star restaurant or even you may dine at Mc Donalds.
Macau seems to be the worlds most important gambling city. In new future beaten Las Wegas of USA. We should keep in mind that Chinese Billioners are much more than Us or UE Billioners.
Then we flew to Bangkok in the evening.
We missed you all.

Hong Kong
