Not a lot to say really!

We arrived - we shopped - we explored the many many malls - we thought about going up the peak but it was too misty so we shopped - we went to the HSBC building and rubbed the lions paw for good luck. We also went to the bank of china building and looked at the Beijing 2008 memorabilia - they really are excited about the olympics - theres rings etc everywhere - and these 5 little characters which represent the rings. We watched the sound and light show which was really pretty - although the skyline alone is so awe-inspiring especialy at night its impossible not to be amazed.
We rode the star ferry - even ones on the top deck (more expensive) - although this was by mistake as we came through the wrong entrance!

We ate really good food - including incredible Dim Sum buffet lunch

Places we saw:
Ladies Market - the best market
Temple Street night market
The mong kok area - amazing shopping!
Stanley - OK but full of ex-pats and very British sea-side town complete with British weather
Central
Granville Road
Nathan Road
The nightlife in central around D'Aguilar Street - messy - we played a game which we shall call 'finish other peoples drinks'
Peninsula Hotel - but we couldnt afford afternoon tea

We stayed in the luxury Chung King Mansions which were absolutely palatial - the most luxurious accommodation we have had since being away (please detect the sarcasm here - it was a hovel - although we managed to find a pretty decent place considering).

We generally shopped until about 11pm most nights then headed for some kind of dinner (although usually just a snack as lunch was often a largish affair!) and were amazed at the number of malls for all budgets and crazy computer centres

Hong Kong was really cool - a bustling town really busy - we decided it was a combination of New York and London with an Asian Twist.

We then flew to Singapore airport where we had 10 hours to kill until our flight to Cape Town!
