PENINSULA HOTEL

We are staying at the Peninsula Hotel, a splurge for ML. Normally he stays at a local hotel which is similar to a Best Western. I LOVE all the attention to detail here, love the fine linens and silver flatware and the gorgeous silver tea pots. Of course I could do this at home but I am way too lazy.

FRESH FRUIT & LINEN
There is always fresh fruit inthe roomwith grogeous linen embroidered napkins. Caroline would appreciate these.

THE ROOM
Big flat screen TV that swivels around.

THE HOTEL ROOM
Big comfy bed and dreamy sheets too.

CLOSET
Two huge closets plus drawers in the center.

SHOE SHINE
Mitchell loved this. At the bottom of the closet, which shares the outside hall wall, in a little box. You put your shoes in the there and the hotel can retrieve your shoes without coming into the room. They also deliver the newspaper here so you don't have to get dressed to open the door. Small simple things I know, but I'm enjoying it.

BATHROOM W/TV
TV over the bath tub. I had it on in the morning just to hear the news.
