Arriving in Hong Kong

We arrived at 8 am to a lovely day ahead, we took the airport express train to Central HK and then the MTR to get to our hotel in Kowloon. The hotel, Metro Park, is nice, cool airconditioned rooms!!!!
Once we had settled in we walked down the main avenue in Kowloon, Nathan Road. There are plenty of little delis all olong the streets, selling everything from dried fruit to dried fish - yum! By lunchtime we were feeling peckish so we went on the hunt for food.... found peanuts with fish heads or cashew nuts with prawns... hard choice! opted for some plain crisps instead, wasn't feeling adventurous enough!!!!
Then had a walk along the sea front, lovely views of HK island...

Chris and Emma will be leaving the UK on the 17th November. Our first stop will be Hong Kong,then we are flying down to Oz. We are starting in Perth, flying to Alice Springs, Ayers Rock etc, spending Christmas and New Year in Adelaide with Chris Aunt and Uncle. We then travel around the coast up to Sydney. From there we fly over to New Zealand for 6 weeks. We then go back into Sydney to finish up the coast.
