Mong KokMong KokMong Kok

Its far busier than it looks
Hello

Today has been as the title says "Chaotic" i have been to an area in Hong Kong called Mongkok which is one of the main shopping areas here, especially if your after electronics, but finding things isn't easy. Mongkok is so busy! It doesn't matter if its first thing in the morning or midnight there seems to be 1000's of people everywhere, i was looking at laptops especially as they are considerably cheaper than in the UK and i think it will be a huge help on my travels, so if all goes to plan there may be a lot more photos and more regular blogs.

After the chaos of Mongkok i thought I'd chill out a bit, so i went to a Taoist temple someone here recommended, the temple is called Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple which is quite a mouth full even for the locals so most call it Wong Tai Sin. I didn't know what to expect as the other temples I've been to so far are all Buddhist, But i was astounded by the beauty of this place and the size-It's massive!!!!! I don't think it was better than Longshan just different,

Small shrine in Wong Tai Sin Temple
there are a few buildings spread out with shrines inside which were beautifully decorated but my favourite part has to be the outdoor gardens with there waterfalls and sculptures and Turtles!! Not statues REAL turtles and huge Koi Carp, its very hard to explain the tranquility of this place but hopefully the photo's do it f me.

I am so worn out after today i have come back to hostel and feel about ready for bed but it only 6:50pm! so i think im just gong to relax and go for some thing to eat a little later.

Hope your all well back home, I'm really missing you all

Take care

Alex
