I moved to Hong Kong in August 2007 with the intention of staying for 9 months...until I left eight and a half years later....I finally made a move from HK and spent 2016 in Sydney, Australia. 2017 has included Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Peru, Ireland and Sweden. My favourite adventure: I went travelling in Asia and Europe for six months, taking the Trans-Siberian railway back to England. We managed to get from Thailand to London with no airplanes! I used to be a frequent visitor to HK...
My in-laws lived at Repulse Bay. That was some years ago and I know there have been many changes, but your interesting and well-observed photos bring back some happy memories.

What a great experience you've had communicating without words. A challenge I'm sure but it has made you more aware. Great story. Sounds like it did not keep you from enjoying Hong Kong. Looking forward to more.
