Paul - Hey look, I'm telling you don't read on. Seriously. Nothing happened of interest at all. You may as well go watch tv or read a book. Or go cook tea for your mum (that's you Mike if you're at home) or do something else productive. You still reading? You actually want to know what we did? ok...
Well we got up nice and early to go across to Hong Kong island to the Vietnamese embassy. Got our visa's no problem and went to Virgin Atlantic's office to change our flight details! Is this exciting or what!?! Wanted to change our flights to Saturday but couldn't so changed them to Sunday instead! After all that excitement we needed a drink so popped into a shop for some water. Laura decided to go crazy and get an ice tea. Holy shit! I told her to calm down and reconsider her drink choice, maybe a water would be a safer option...
Anyway we seriously needed a rest now so we sat down in a Kodak shop while a guy copied our DV tape onto DVD to send home. Mark and Katie can expect that anytime in the next month. Started to rain hard so got the Star Ferry back to Kowloon and went back to our hostel so Laura could have a nap. A nap! A frikkin' nap! What culture vultures we are today!
Washed some clothes and swapped some books before we had dinner (cheap italian place up some random stairs, but had good views over the main shopping street so we could people watch!). Tomorrow we want to take the Peak Tram to the top of Victoria peak but the weather has been rubbish so far (rubbish in the sense that it's been cloudy and raining, temperature is roughly 35 degrees - yikes!) if that doesn't happen we may go to the cinema instead!
Don't start pointing fingers! It's expensive in Hong Kong! We can't afford anything! I'm sticking Laura on the street tomorrow to sing for money. I have it on good authority she has the voice of an angel. Plus her mum did say she was the better singer of the Darby sisters.

I love rock and roll.
I would like to inform you that I have been speaking to a lawyer and libel action is being taken against you. This is in reference to your comment 'her mum did say she was the better singer of the Darby sisters', written on June 1st. My lawyers insist that there is no truth in this claim and that there is no evidence to support it. We would like to remind you that it was the Darby sisters TOGETHER that won first prize in the Barton Karaoke competition, (yes that's right people, first place) and this would not have been possible without the considerable talents of the elder Miss Darby. You will be hearing from my lawyer again shortly. So put another dime in the duke box, baby.
