Our last week! Hong Kong was wonderful not least because it felt much cooler than Bangkok so we were able to do more in the day. Our hotel was near Causeway bay which turned out to be a very good position. We had mostly good weather and even went to one of the beaches one day. It was easy to get around especially with the pass we had bought. Visited the big Buddha on Lantau island which was very impressive. Aslo went to Kowloon in the evening to see the skyline lit up and the 'light show' which was mildly entertaining. Also went walking in the new territories and up on the hill behind Causeway Bay. I enjoyed doing a bit of shopping and getting my hair done! The week went quickly and it was soon time to get on the flight back home! Would like to go back to HK amongst many other places- still that's another trip! We were both looking forward to seeing family and friends of course , after 10 and a half months.
