Enjoyed our 5 nights in Bangkok. Quite rainy but still managed to get to the Grand Palace on the 26th, very impressive but the temple part Wot phra kaow was the best bit and we had already seen that. We met our friend Matt on the friday and went shopping on sunday at Chatuchak market with him. Also went to his flat on monday night- made a nice change rather than being our at a restaurant. I went jogging a couple of times in a park near our hotel - it was full of people jogging and doing aerobics but at 6pm when the national anthem ws played everyone froze!! So obviously I did the same- it was quite bizarre!
