One company that uses sweatshops to make their products is Disney. You may know Disney from your favorite childhood movies like Lion King, Winnie The Pooh, Lilo & Stich, etc., well many products from Disney are made in factories in China. The factories are scattered throughout Asia and what people do in these factories are making Disney children's books, make t-shirts, toys, dolls, stuffed animals and anything else they sell at the Disney Store, yes, this includes the one near MCP. The people who are forced to work in these factories are as young as 14 years old. These children who are under the legal age to work are forced to work 10-13 hours a day and 7 days a week. The workers are paid $0.33-0.44 (cents) an hour, they are cheated from their overtime work pay, no health insurance, many injuries (i.e., fingers getting cut off by machines) and factories couches teach works to lie to inspectors. In Bangladesh, located in South Asia, workers are paid 5 cents an hour, when Winnie the Pooh shirts cost $17.99, workers are often beaten if they do not meet quotas, speaking inside the factories is prohibited. These conditions where too much for a female worker at the factory that committed suicide after being denied medical treatment after being severely injured.

CHILDHOOD = RUINED
